Improved Input Shaft Coupler

This improved coupler replaces the stock input shaft coupler in the DeLorean’s 5 speed transaxle (UN1) allowing it to be used with engines with higher outputs like the LS4. The stock coupler can fail somewhere around the 225-250ft lb mark, damaging other parts in the transaxle as well. If you are rebuilding your transaxle it is a great “While you are in there” item to replace. Includes roll pins for 2nd gear re-enforcement as well as drive flanges.

If you are going to use the stock 5 speed transaxle, we highly suggest replacing the stock input shaft coupling with this improved version.
